Cookies & privacy choices
Updated October 21, 2026
This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by TOVRINO. You can send an appointment request without allowing optional OpenAI advertising measurement.
Your measurement choice
When optional OpenAI measurement is available, use Measurement choices in the footer to allow it or turn it off. It stays off until you allow it. Closing or declining the notice keeps it off, and your appointment request still works.
We remember an allow or off choice for up to 180 days using browser local storage and a timestamp. You can change it sooner from the same control. Browser settings or clearing storage can remove your choice.
Supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals keep optional OpenAI measurement off. Turning it off stops future OpenAI measurement, clears pending measurement work and removes the known first-party OpenAI measurement cookies that these controls can clear. It does not erase information already received by a provider, delete your request or recall an owner-notification email.
With your permission, the OpenAI Pixel can measure accepted requests using ad-click and browser signals. It may automatically detect supported contact details from forms and hash them in your browser for matching. Hashing does not make this measurement anonymous. See the OpenAI measurement disclosure in our Privacy Policy and OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Request-source labels are separate. We may save limited link-source labels in this tab and include them with your request and the owner's notification email. They help organize inquiries. Turning optional OpenAI measurement off does not turn these first-party source labels off.
What is stored in your browser
Cookies and browser storage have different purposes and lifetimes. Expiry of a browser item does not delete a database record or determine a provider's retention of information already received.
- Request confirmation cookie —
tv_receipt - Purpose: Allows access to the request-received page after an accepted submission. It is signed and contains service, expiry and, when applicable, an opaque request identifier. It does not contain your name, telephone number or ZIP code.
- Lifetime: Normally ten minutes. This first-party cookie is marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax.
- Request-source label —
tv_lead_attribution_v1 - Purpose: Saves an allowlisted source, medium and, where recognized, campaign label in session storage. It contains no form contact values, complete page URL or raw advertising click-reference value. It is separate from optional OpenAI measurement.
- Lifetime: Reused within the same browser tab for up to 30 minutes. An expired label is ignored and removed when checked; session storage normally ends when the tab closes.
- Measurement choice —
tv_openai_measurement_v1andtv_openai_measurement_at_v1 - Purpose: Stores your OpenAI allow/off choice and its timestamp in local storage.
- Lifetime: The choice is valid for up to 180 days, unless you change or clear it sooner. Expired choices are no longer treated as permission.
- Pending measurement —
tv_openai_pending_lead_v1 - Purpose: Temporarily links an accepted, consented request to its signed confirmation page using an opaque identifier and timestamp in session storage. It contains no form contact values.
- Lifetime: Valid for ten minutes. It is cleared on processing, withdrawal or an expired check.
- Duplicate prevention —
tv_openai_leads_v1 - Purpose: Session storage holds up to 100 opaque event identifiers and timestamps to help prevent repeated measurement. It contains no form contact values.
- Lifetime: Entries are valid for ten minutes. Inactive entries may remain until another check or the tab closes; they are not valid measurement permission.
- OpenAI ad-click cookie —
__oppref - Purpose: After permission, the Pixel may store an ad-click reference in a first-party cookie to associate an event with a link.
- Lifetime: Up to 30 days after the Pixel writes it, subject to browser controls.
- OpenAI browser-reference cookie —
__obref - Purpose: After permission, the Pixel may store a randomly generated first-party browser reference for measurement.
- Lifetime: Up to 365 days after creation, subject to browser controls.
- OpenAI SDK privacy preference —
oaiq_consentand__oaiq_consent - Purpose: Once loaded, the SDK may keep its own allow/off preference in local storage and a first-party cookie. This is separate from TOVRINO's dated choice above and cannot start our measurement integration without a valid TOVRINO opt-in.
- Lifetime: The SDK preference cookie requests 30 days after it is written. Its local-storage preference has no built-in expiry in the SDK reviewed on October 21, 2026; it can remain until overwritten or cleared. TOVRINO's separate 180-day permission check still applies.
- OpenAI SDK session marker —
oaiq_cs:<pixel ID> - Purpose: The SDK may use a per-Pixel session-storage marker for visit and consent diagnostics. This marker does not contain form contact values.
- Lifetime: The browser tab's session. Browser settings and clearing site data can shorten it.
Your browser may block or clear these items sooner. You can also clear site data in your browser settings. Blocking confirmation storage can affect the request-received page; it does not mean an accepted request was deleted. Read our current data-handling clarification for database, notification-email and retention information.
